Dear Lions,

FUNDRAISING IN AID OF LIONS HOME FOR THE ELDERS

We would like to thank Lions Clubs for their dedication to the cause of helping less fortunate elderly in our society. In particular, your efforts in fund-raising in aid of Lions Home for the Elders (LHE) are indeed commendable.

In compliance with the latest guideline stated in the Corporate Governance Code, there is a need for LHE to have a formal agreement with fundraisers, including Lions Clubs of Singapore. As required, the following items must be clearly specified :

• Methods and period of fundraising and details of the venue.
• Budget for fundraising activity costs.
• Allocation of proceeds.
• Procedures for settling disputes.
• Clauses for termination of the contract.

Hence, we would like to request Lions Clubs of Singapore to continue to make use of the form attached when they wish to raise funds in aid of LHE.
